Turn them inside out, swish them around in your soapy dish water,
rinse and hang to dry. Reuse until they grow holes.
We have a "clothesline" over the kitchen sink for hanging sponges,
plastic bags, and other random stuff to air dry. Most folks think
we're a little weird, but my dishwasher likes it, and he's the one
whose opinion counts.
