Price of corned beef and/or brisket

I went to Vons today to buy the corned beef pont at $.99. The butcher
said they sold out the first day the ad appeared and when they ordered
more it was recalled. He didn't know why it was recalled. I paid
$2.69 per pound with the Vons Card for the brisket. Without the card
it was $3.69.
