Wednesday Dinner
The fridge contained Musgovian items: A bunch of chard which we'd bought a
week ago, and part of a butternut squash which had been there for at least a
week also. The bread basket contained about a quarter of a loaf of ciabatta.
The onions were ready to go bad. So this is what I came up with:
Farfalle with butternut squash, ricotta, bacon, and fried sage leaves
Chard with Italian sausage
Onions "agrodolce" (with red wine vinegar, sugar, and hot pepper flakes)
Ciabatta (brushed with garlic butter and baked until hot)
Melon Italian soda
I've got enough leftovers to take to work with me for lunch tomorrow!
