It also prods us to learn things we normally wouldn't seek out. I
can't even tell you how many times dinner is inspired by something
I've read here in the morning that I'd never have thought of on my
own. I made pancakes last week because people here were talking about
them. We haven't had them in a year and wouldn't have made them
without the thread.
