Default Ping: Wayne and others - Polder Instant-type Probe Thermometer

http://tinyurl.com/8o67pq

Here is a page with the reviews. Funny, re-reading them, I see a review
from a "DeeDee" who is not me, nor my review.
Received it today.

Only one thing I find a bit disconcerting is the fact that when you hold the
thermometer to probe, in order to hold it tightly enough not to slip through
your fingers, one covers the read-out with a finger or thumb. This is not
true with Thermapen, although Thermapen does take a bit of getting use to to
manuever around for different chores; i.e., closing it up and re-opening.

There is a tiny space to hold the probe in one's finger and thumb, but it is
so small and slippery that it slips quickly 'into the broth.'

After only one meal testing it, on a sauce, I find it so close (if not as
fast) to thermapen in instant-ticity (new word?) that I would recommend it.

Happy New Year, darlin's,
Dee Dee
