I think it makes a diffrence--the weber chimney starts the charcoal faster
and last longer than the discount brands!! I've tested them and the weber
wins hands down. Plus I believe the weber is still amde in Americabut don't
have any new ones around to check right now. Usually buy a few(great gifts)
when Amazon has a sale for about 12 bucks a piece.

Of course this is my opinion but I am a weber fan
