I never actually timed the thawing out time Kevin, but it's quite awhile.
I'd guess 8 to 10 hours. Here's a tip that can help. I have a large, flat
aluminum lid for a twelve inch skillet and I put the meat on that. It acts
as a heat transfer device and speeds up the thawing. Any large surface
aluminum will help, even a cake pan.
