My Mom was in ICU for almost three weeks before she died and was
convinced they were all trying to kill her. There were other behaviours out
of the norm too. There wasn't much we could do to but try to calm her and
reassure her they were trying to help her. At first she didn't recognise me
and kept asking why I was there. At the end she had a lucid moment and the
last thing I said to her was "I love you, Mom". I hope she really heard
