If she's fairly healthy now, the process may not be a problem. My
great-grandfather (the one I knew - who lived next door to me) died in
his sleep with his hands characteristically folded over his chest.
One grandfather actually keeled over on his way to bed.
It could be worse. Dying in a hospital with tubes everywhere is my
worst nightmare. I will make sure the word *Hospice* is mentioned
many times when my health declines. My mother had ovarian cancer
(long sad story in between), but she took charge of her own death and
didn't allow modern medicine to intervene. She did what her mother
did - and if I need to, I'll do the same thing when the time comes.
