I understand, Allan. The beauty of the CaringBridge sites is that you
(patient or patient's representative or family or whomever) can write
the story once in one place and well wishes can wish well there. You
(or others as indicated above) don't have to repeat the story, can reply
privately to well-wishers, and can screen comments to post. The
underlying philosophy is to reduce stress on patient and family by not
having to repeat the story umpteen individual times. It's a wonderful
thing and a wonderful way to express concern in an appropriate fashion
and place. Interested parties can sign up to an automatic alert if you
post something to the CB site, notifying people of new info to stay
current on her progress and pitfalls.
