That's because there's a lot of men (and the same goes for a lot of
women) out there that would head for the hills and never come back in a
situation like yours.
We hear about it all the time.

Then it can be said you are a man of honour, Grasshopper :-)

Coincidence??? On TV at the moment is a program........

Insight
The End of Marriage?

1.30pm – 2.30pm SBS
Friday 7 November 2008
Are we seeing the end of marriage? In the past 20 years the number of
people getting married in Australian has dropped by almost a quarter,
while de facto relationships have risen dramatically. Insight host Jenny
Brockie asks whether the institution of marriage is in slow, but
inevitable, decline. With a new bill being debated in Federal Parliament
that's designed to give de facto couples the same legal and economic
rights as married ones, will more Australians be entering a new form of
marriage without realising it? Or is living together still seen as an
important trial period before the big step? In this intriguing episode
of Insight, Jenny Brockie asks why are we no longer getting married? Is
it because we are scared of divorce or because marriage has become a
devalued or archaic institution?

:-)

The SO and I have been together now for 15 years. We got engaged about
18 months ago. We'll get married sometime :-)

She said "I want a church wedding."
I said "How about on a white sandy beach on some tropical Island in the
middle of the Pacific?"
She said "Screw the church wedding!!" :-)

God, no!! ;-P

I'm an equal opportunity bigot. I hate everyone, including 'God', the
same ;-)

I've been in plenty of hospital rooms, but never one of those. You guys
have all the fun!! ;-P

What sort of shit have they got you on for your back?

We're all hoping for the same thing. (well, most of us are)
