Default Wood forTurkey Smoking

I have had wonderful results with apple and pear if you can get it. Cherry
is OK too. I know a lot of people here will disagree but I have had real
good results with hickory. No brining or rub or nuthin', just good smoke at
one hour per pound at 250 F.
