My wife is sort of a vegetarian. Yes, that's an interesting mix we have
because I'm pretty much a carnivore. It's not a moral thing, she just
doesn't like the idea of factory farm raised meat. She'll eat wild game, so
if I shoot it, we've got meat for dinner.

Last week I brined a couple of chickens from Sam's (.67/lb!) then smoked
them for 6 hours on low heat. I added some Texas Pete to the brine to give
it a kick. When I brought them into the house the wonderful smell was
overwhelming. I offerred her a piece, and she tried it. And then some
more....

I warmed up some leftovers in the microwave last night with some Cool Hawg
BBQ Sauce. It was every bit as good as when it first came in. She tried
some more.

Take that, Tofu Boy. The scorecard is now AFB 1 Tofu Boy 0 for converts.
