No, it's not.

I substitute teach in our local school district. I am among the few who
will take on the high school level Learning Disabled and Behaviorally
Disordered classes. When I accept one of these assignments I stop off
at QuikTrip on my way in and pick a couple reels of BubbleTape (chewing
gum), which I share with my students.

These kids are considered the worst of the worst and many of them don't
know me from Adam and yet I have never failed to receive a "Thank You"
and a smile for something as inconsequential as a strip of bubble gum.

The birthday girl's behavior is inexcusable and unforgivable and I'd ask
if she'd been raised by wolves except that wolves display complicated
social behavior and highly regulated manners and the comparison would be
insulting to them.

If she were an animal, she'd be a zoo-raised chimp flinging poo at visitors.
