Oh, the doctors probably "tell" them... quickly. But who feels like
listening when they still feel bad? I'd be so busy thinking about
getting home, I'd just nod and pretend I heard them. A booklet or
leaflet would be more helpful and something to refer to when the
hunger pangs set in.
