I would like to borrow yours. My English one died years before I was born,
and although the French one survived into my childhood, rearing many
children wore her out so the remaining ones at home cooked when we visited.
My mother, however, being no one's fool, watched and measured everything as
my GM cooked and wrote it down so that we ate GM's cookery once removed.
