That would involve considering how he contributes to animal deaths
like everybody else, and may be far beyond what he's willing to attempt.

In order to look for absolution, wouldn't he first have to admit to his contribution
to animal deaths? I believe he's more likely in a state of chronic denial, and will
probably never be able to rise above it.
