Personally, I love ss. I was brought up with it and feel comfortable
with it. As far as scratching, well it all depends on how you handle
it. You can scratch porcelain too. In fact you can gouge it. When I
bought this house, my lovely *pink* kitchen sink looked like a crane
had dropped a wrecking ball on it. There was a huge chunk of
porcelain missing - I never found out how it happened.
