Have a 2 day rule on sliced deli meats & never, ever buy the stuff
that's pre-sliced & sitting out in the case for "my convenience." Also
I watch the clerk like a hawk, making sure they play by the food
handling rules...and don't hesitate to speak up and/or walk away if
I'm not happy with what I see. Food poisoning is something I never
want to have a second time...once was quite enough, thank you.
