For me it was usually (but not always) shakes, an inability
to properly control my limbs, a feeling of
vertigo/nausea/dizziness.
I only went unconscious once, and that was before diagnosis.
The best post-diagnosis was when I was in the middle of the
pool and suddenly couldn't swim. But I made it to the side
somehow.
I can't recall having one in the past couple of years; in
fact they've been rare since I added metformin three years
back.
