After some "soul searching" I finally decided to filter both Google Groups
and Gmail Accounts. With the volume of spam and generally unwanted posts in
rfc and other newsgroups, it has become just too unwieldly to ignore or
bypass posts from either.

I apologize to those posters to rfc who legimately post using Gmail. I had
been posting listing a Gmail account, but several folks here asked that I
change it to something else so that they would miss my posts. I did so a
while back. Probably not a bad idea for others.
