Recipe help - Canned Organic Soy Beans
The other day I visited the 99 cents or less store. I picked up a can of
"Libby's" Organic Soy Beans. (15 ounces) It intrigued me because each
serving of 1/2 cup contained 13 grams of carbohydrates and 12 grams of
dietary fiber making it only 1 countable gram of carbohydrates for my
diabetic husband.
I thought I'd be able to find some recipes on the 'net, but I haven't
been able to. Most of what I found was for black soy beans or fresh
edamame or tofu. These are green soy beans cooked in water with some sea
salt added.
The recipe on the label of the can is for a salad containing rice. Rice
(even brown) is a no no here.
Does anyone have a recipe to share using canned organic green soy beans?
TIA
Texas Janet
