It absolutely is a difference without a distinction.
It's meat, full stop. The shift from scavenging to
hunting also occurred more than 2.25 million years ago,
and humans have hunted ever since. That is more than
enough time for biological adaptation to occur, and it
has. Humans are biologically adapted to eat meat.
