Brown Sugar Drops

Mix thoroughly:
1 cup soft shortening
2 cup brown sugar, packed
2 eggs

Stir in:
1/2 cup buttermilk or sour milk
Sift together and stir in:
3-1/2 cup flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt

Chill dough 1 hour.
Drop by round teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
Bake 400 deg. oven for 8 to 10 min.
