Here's the way it went with me -- I got leather seats and proceeded to cover
them with the fluffy wool - IIRC they were "Napa Valley Wool seatcovers."

Actually it probably saved the leather, as DH was just too darned big to
ride in a small car. He has a way of destroying seats.
