But I can also imagine that these chefs and authors get tired of the
book signing circuits and might feel as if the public is just sucking
them dry...always expecting them to be witty, outgoing and friendly to
the last person in line as the first and it was a line of a thousand.
Perhaps some just arne't that way naturally and it is a struggle? I'm
not excusing it, mind you... just speculating on why it might have happened?
