I just recently moved to Denver CO, and I was wondering if anyone knew
where I could find either address wise or on the internet, food to
purchase?

Back in my home state I knew a person who owned a deli and restaurant
and had the olives for sell, chic peas, and alot of food either to eat
or use to cook with.

I have had Dried Apricot Paste sent to me cause I have no idea where
to find it here in CO.

It is Made in Syria, and MFG BY: Mohamed El Shalati
Damascus-Syria Tel: 5231243. Stuff sells for about $2.60.

Not sure if anyone here knows what I am talking about, but I thought I
would ask if anyone knows of any specialty shops or what not in
Denver.

I went to Google advanced search, and got 1,40 hits. Some are irrelevant,
of course.

I searched on: word -- Denver. phrase -- Middle Eastern. At least one of
the words -- grocery, groceries.

There is a Middle Eastern market across the street (Parker Road)
and a bit south from the Islamic temple, between Iliff and Florida
Ave.
I believe there is a sign in the window advertising halal meat.

I vaguely remember seeing another somewhere on Leetsdale Ave.
just south of Glendale, too.
