Default Crock pot gravy boat

Trying to get a start on the holidays- looking thru ads the other day,
Ace Hardware had a Crock Pot Gravy boat on sale for $9.99. Good idea
for the gravy eatin' relatives! Hopefully it won't be one of those
never used gadgets. I laughed when I received a salad shooter a number
of years ago, but it works really well on frozen butter for pie dough
and also chocolate

<imagining sitting across the table and having chocolate shot into my open
mouth> actually sounds kind of like the baby crock pots they make. We used to
make melted cheese dib in them for a party? make sure the cord is not a tripping
hazard

Is it electric? I've see thermal-insulated gravy boats but never one
with a cord.
