Orange-Nødde-Chokoladekage (for conversion: 1 oz = 28.35 gram, 1 cup =
2.5 dl)

300 g butter
500 g Sugar
4 eggs

[whip white and foamy]

350 g flour
2 tsp Baking powder
75 g cacao
2 tsp Vanilla
50 g Chopped hazel nuts (save a bit for topping)

[whip into the foamy stuff]

1.5 dl milk
Juice of 2 oranges

[whip into the dough]

1 dl boiling water

[mix into the dough]

Distribute coarse sugar and chopped nuts over the top and bake at 350
F/175C for 35 min.

Double Chocolate Chip Muffins


2 eggs
75 gram/3 oz butter
1,5 (2/3 cup) Creme Fraiche (18% fat) or Sour Cream


2,5 dl / 1 cup flour
2/3 teaspoon baking powder
2/3 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 dl/0.5 cup cacao powder
1,5 dl (2/3 cup) cane sugar


75 gram/3 oz chopped dark chocolate (Valrhona Noir Amer 71%)
50 gram Chopped white chocolate


Mix the dry ingredients. Melt the butter, and whip with eggs and creme
fraise. Fold in the dry mix and the chocolate pieces.


Strain into muffin cups and bake 20-25 minutes at 200 C/400 F.


Serve with whipped cream and strawberries or raspberries.
