apple juice amount & Plum prices
I've just found a source of "unfiltered apple juice" at a reasonable
price. I've never made wine from apple juice before and am wondering how much I would need for a 1 litre experimental batch? Ta. |

I might try to organise a picking for my local wine soc if the offer is good. There's about 20 trees. |

Really ought to just make it an even gallon.
Get a gallon of apple juice & by the time you add sugar & whatever, you'll end up with a gallon after racking. Thanks,
I was a bottle or two down of wine when I wrote that post. I meant to ask how many litres would I need for a gallon. I'll just get a gallons worth. Need to empty some demijohns first though. According to http://www.sciencemadesimple.net/volume.php
1 gallons (US) is equal to 3.785412 liters Ha, I've done that a few times (too much wine while posting online). That and EBay are dangerous while drinking. :-) Robert "alien" > wrote in message n... > Thanks, > > I was a bottle or two down of wine when I wrote that post. Question was more about any necessary dilution, than what a gallon is ;) |
