OT postings & kill files
I don;t wish to patronize, but I wanted to share a 'problem', and suggest a
solution. Some on this group recently advised me to change my newsreader to one that has a kill file. I did - and I am forever grateful. Whenever I see one of 'those' posts (you know the ones I'm referring to), I put that sender into the kill file. It has helped. I was doing that yesterday when I caught my self ALMOST kill filing one of our regulars on this board, whose posts I would regret blocking. The point - the suggestion - is; I think those of us who are actice participants on the winemaking forum should avoid responding to any of those obnoxious OT posts - lest we get 'kill-filed" by othershere inadvertently. Just my $.02 ... hope everyone is avoiding the heat. Heat here is terrible - have the vineyard drip lines running for an hour EVERY day ... |
