When buying synthetic corks what brand is like the ones you see with the
white center?

I like the normacorc synthetic cork, I'm not sure which one you are
referring...

That sounds like a NomaCorc (NeoCorc in Europe), it's got an extruded
tube like exterior and a foam interior. I have been using them for 2
years at this point and like them.

And the NomaCorc is the one I see most often in commercial wines using
synthetic cork... even midrange wines.
