haze won't clear
I have 3 carboys of chardonay and sav. blanc that won't clear up. I
dosed them with issinglass a month ago and nothing is clearing. I redosed and placed in a very cool environment 2 weeks ago and still nothing. Any tips? Thanks. |
I used superclear on my chardonnay this year and it cleared overnight. It
is a two part clearing agent. You rack it and stir in one packet, wait a few min's and stir in the next. By the next morning it will probably be clear. It's probably time for some bench trials - I'd try kieselsol and/or tannin at this stage and maybe bentonite (again). Pp |
I take it that you have not used it before.
