Sterilizing Alternative
I have been buying the sterilizing powder for bottles etc. for a while now
and I am wondering if the tablets and liquid that mothers use for sterilizing babies food & drinking utensils would give the same results as it is much cheaper than the powder ? |

In a recently obtained cheesemaking book, the author (a cheesemaker for quite a number of years) recommends baby steriliser for cheesemaking. |

Flush inside bottle and rinse afterwards. > > -- > Jim LeMay Lets understand you don't sterilize, you sanitize wine bottles. A big difference. Use 3 tbls of meta to a gallon of water. (cheap) after use put in a 1 gal carboy w/airlock for use again later. Also add sone to a spray bottle so you can sanitize your tools. Tom |
