I arrived back home in Yorkshire last Friday (21 May). I had cycled from
here to Santiago de Compostela ( leaving England from Portsmouth to St Malo -- 2340.4 Km on my trusty velo) and then spent about 8 days returning by train, car and Euro Bike Express. It was an unimaginable experience.with an awful lot of rain, cold, snow and wind in Spain---. But I did it in 3 weeks shorter than planned Now I must prepare for the strawberry season in about a months time and get back down to bottling several 23 litre batches to free up for the summer season fruits I am a bit at a lost and finding it difficult to settle back into a normal routine after 6 weeks living totally self contained on my velo! -- Trevor A Panther In South Yorkshire, England Remove "PSANTISPAM" from my address line to reply. Trevor,
How on earth did you carry 6 weeks of wine with you on a bike trip? Ray "Pinky" > wrote in message ... > I arrived back home in Yorkshire last Friday (21 May). OT or not, cheers to you for having adventures like that. The only adventure
I had akin to that was a solo motorcycle trip with quite a few miles of hiking thrown in. There's nothing quite as satisfying as carrying everything you need for (in my case only 2 nights) 6 weeks of adventuring. Nice work and welcome back. Now bottle that damn wine!
