Mead beer and wine all get cross posted questions ... but
they don't post there FAQ's on the other newsgroups. What your doing is ADVERTISING YOUR PET PROJECT. I am in the RCM I don't go trying to increase our posting in this newsgroup by Spamming RCB or RCW I agree with Joel, you have a distilling newsgroup, you've been advertising it here for months, I'd prefer you to stop now. The subject of distilling RARELY comes up and for good reasons... most notably illegality for the vast majority of participants in this N.G. sure, if your in New Zealand or somewhere you might be leagal... go to the appropriate newsgroup. Sure occasionally someone asks... and they get told Illeagle in US, not appropriate for this newsgroup, RCD exists if they want to research further. Now if you want to put together a comprehensive meadmaking FAQ then you can include a link to your moonshine newsgroup as the answer to the question about distilling mead... just be sure to include the fact that in the US and many other countries home distillation of alchoholic spirits is against the law.
