Default 1st Sparkloid

After 3 months of waiting for my Plum wine to clear, I added Sparkloid
tonight. 3 tsp for 3 gallons of wine in 1/4 cup water. Brought to a
boil, simmered for another minute (sure seemed plenty mixed), ran down
stairs & dumped it in while stirring vigorously.

I've never used this before. Never had a batch that didn't fall clear
on its own.

Anyway... it seems that at least most of the Sparkloid formed strands
in the wine and settled out almost immediately. I this right? Did I
screw something up? I happy to wait another month or so for it to
clear if this will work. I just didn't expect it to be dropping out
so quickly.
