![]() I'm about to retire at age 62. I would really like to get into wine making in a serious way. I've tried a couple of kits from Jim's Home Brew Supply in Spokane - but both times I thought the results were sort of poor. Can anyone who has a lot of experience recommend some good reading on the subject? Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble.com both list a ton of books. Which are really useful? Beginner's book? Has there ever been a FAQ for this group? How does one get started in this? Are there any other good newsgroups on-topic. I did a search on "winemaking" and found this group as the only one active. I'm a total newbie, so I'm throwing myself on your mercy. Any advice would be ENORMOUSELY appreciated.
