Default Missing stopper & air lock

While checking some wine I started about 9 monts ago I found the stopper
and air lock on one of my carboys had fallen out. I don't know how long
it has been missing but it could of been months.
Is the wine still good to drink or should it be dumped.

I think this has happened to almost everybody. You should check active wine
every week if possible to minimize the impact of such accidents. For now
check the wine for taste and off odours.
If there are no danger signals and the wine tastes o.k. then I would bring
the sulfite to proper level and replace the bung or airlock until you are
ready to rack or bottle.

I found one in exactly the same state this weekend except that I could not
find the airlock. I have no idea where it went or when it happened. The
only test I know for this is taste. Mine did not taste ruined so I added
campden and put an airlock on it. I will check it again in a month or so.
