Default Grapes in Virginia

I have been making wine in Virginia for 3 years now and have yet to find
someplace that sells PYO wine grapes. Does anyone know of a place that
sells wine grapes to the home winemaker. I have contacted some of the
local wineries with no success and most of the local PYO only do concord or
the such. I think that there might be some place in Staunton but not sure.

I am willing to go to Maryland as well.

Thanks,
-Arjay

Check out the link below.

http://www.marylandwine.com/mgga/vin.../for_sale.html

At the bottom of the page you will see vineyards in adjacent states,
including Virginia. The last one on the list (Windham) is where I worked
part time before re-retiring.

The individual below is a consultant for a number of vineyards in Northern
Virginia and knows who is selling what and to whom. He can probably help
you out.

I forgot to add:
You will see my name as a point of contact for the last Vineyard on the
list. Don't call me. I don't work there any more. Contact the consultant
above. He still works there.

You can also check out S&S Wine in Baltimore. They sell California grapes.
I have never bought any there but some claim they have good grapes and the
prices are relatively cheap.
