Concentrate question??

It has been several years since i last made wine. I was wondering where the
most reasonable place on the internet was to by concentrate, the last batch
i made i used sun country conc. it was a cab. and turned out nice. I don't
need the kit's i have all the equip. just the concentrate. Also, do the
additives, ie. acid blend, tannin, etc. go bad. I 've had these in storage
also.

thanx

Concentrate question??

Most wine additives keep fairly well. Yeast can expire, obviously. But
if they're not too far out of date you may be able to get a yeast
starter going. Even just a few viable yeast cells can multiply and
ferment a large batch to dryness.

The one big exception is pectic enzyme. It doesn't keep well, unless
refrigerated.

I've made quite a bit of wine from Alexander's concentrate. Northern
Brewer is a reliable supplier. If you're going to use concentrate, I
suggest augmenting it with raisins or banana's. Both will add body.
