What is in a Bolero bucket?
I picked up a stray bucket of Bolero yesterday (White Merlot). The
owner didn't know what to do with it, and offered a price I couldn't resist. What I *don't* know is what is actually in the bucket--is this a bucket of juice, or is the liquid bagged with packets of yeast and what-not inside as well? (It refers to what is "included," but I don't know if this is separate or inside). I'd open it, but if it's just juice . . . hawk |

Its is a sterile must. 23 lts in a bag. Just follow directions and it
should turn out fine. It would be the same as any other "kit" wine. Only in this case you do not add any water. -- "Dr. Richard E. OK, but is there anything else inside? It refers to the yeast, clay, etc., but I don't know if those are inside the bucket, or are "lost pieces" that were external. thanks hawk |

I'm not sure what you are asking.
Bolero is an RJ Spagnols kit. There should be a large bag of must. here should also be bentonite, K-meta, sorbate, and clearing agent(s). There may be oak depending on the variety. That was the question :) I have the sealed bucket, but I didn't know if it would be must in a bag and a bag of other stuff, or if the other stuff would have been external. Thans hawk |

The catch, of course, would be if it was just must, leaving me sitting there with open must and no yeast . . . hawk |
What is in a Bolero bucket?
This is a standard kit that just happens to be 23 litres. The
so-called 'sterile must' is in a BAG in the pail. The additives described previously will be in the pail with the bag. OK???
