Both of these will be coming from the Lodi area. Any suggestions for yeast?

Marty,
As always, it depends on what you want to quality you want to accentuate
in the finished product. From my experience, RC212 is a good all
purpose red wine yeast. Montrachet can have H2S problems. I once saw a
website that compared and contrasted most yeast types but can't recall
the link. Maybe someone else can post it.

Good luck!
Joe

Thanks. I've used both of those last year with good success.

Tell you the truth I'm not sure what I'm looking for. I want to try new
stuff. Your head starts to spin when you see all the choices.

I'm thinking of going with wyeast 4267 Bordeaux.
