I've seen the older Mondavi Coastal collection, which is pretty mundane wine. OTOH, some wineries will package a vertical of their better wines, or a horizontal. Vertical is the same wine with x years represented, the horizontal might be x single-vineyard wines from the same producer, and the same year. IMHO these are more worthy. Anyway, the presentation of the wooden box, might lend a bit of additional " value" at least to the recipient. Hunt |
