Red Zeppelin--anyone tasted it?
I read recently in the book about Parker about Red Zeppelin and its
Emperor Bob label. I tasted it earlier this year at Hospice du Rhone and thought it was okay, nothing special. Anyone else tasted Red Zeppelin? Any thoughts about its quality now or in the early 1990s? |

Hi, Emery - It's an event at the fair in Paso Robles, celebrating Rhone varietals: http://www.hospicedurhone.com/ Red Zeppelin is a winery in that area. I had assumed that it was a Randall Grahm label, since it sounds like a name he'd have come up with, but it's not: http://www.redzeppelinwinery.com/index.html I went to the Bonny Doon site to check the spelling of "Grahm", and got a lot more than I'd bargained for. This is a fun website! http://www.bonnydoonvineyard.com/ Tom S www.chateauburbank.com |

Red Zeppelin--anyone tasted it?
Jeez I thought Red Zeppelin was the Chinese pronunciation of a wine made by
Lead Zeppelin. If It was I'd order Stairway to Heaven Blanc de Blanc. It's a take off both on Led Zeppelin and Grahm's Cigar. I guess. Tom S wrote: > Red Zeppelin is a winery in that area. I had assumed that it was a Randall > Grahm label, since it sounds like a name he'd have come up with, but it's > not: > http://www.redzeppelinwinery.com/index.html > |
