Default TN: Montesecondo TIN

I never thought of pork ribs as Tuscan, but Biba Caggiano listed lemon-marinated pork ribs as a Florentine speciality. Served with broccoli rabe, potato, and salad,, our Zoom wine was the 2017 Montesecondo €œTin€. Tin is apparently Arabic for clay, this is a 100% Sangiovese from Chianti Classico raised in amphorae. Raspberry and red cherry, tangy acids, mineral finish. Gets herby with air. Keeps evolving. Fun, though not sure I'd pick out as Chianti (or Sangiovese). B+/B

Grade disclaimer: I'm a very easy grader, basically A is an excellent wine, B a good wine, C
drinkable. Anything below C means I wouldn't drink at a party where it was only choice.Furthermore, I offer no promises of objectivity, accuracy, and certainly not of consistency.
