Default TN: Two (non-Champagne) bubblies, one Riesling

NV Babot Extra Brut Cava
Crisp, austere, with an unusual miso-y note on nose. Different, ok, and hey I paid $1. B-

NV Pinon Non Dose Vouvray
Yeast, green apple, grapefruit. Modest petillance, bright acids, tasty. Good with roast chicken, B+/B

2015 Selbach-Oster Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Kabinett
At first I thought this a little soft and sweet, but maybe it just wasn't cold enough (I poured and left my glass out for a while). As I had seconds, a much perkier wine. Good acids, white nectarines and tart apple, a long minerally finish. Pretty but not delicate wine. Tasty with fish tacos. B+/A-

Grade disclaimer: I'm a very easy grader, basically A is an excellent wine, B a good wine, C drinkable. Anything below C means I wouldn't drink at a party where it was only choice.Furthermore, I offer no promises of objectivity, accuracy, and certainly not of consistency.
