2006 William Fevre Chablis Bougros GC
I seared off some nice fresh local Walleye last night with fresh squash saute and the last of our fresh sweet corn. I opened a bottle of 2006 William Fevre Chablis Bougros GC from my orphan bin. Color was pale gold and clear, nose of oyster shells and hazelnuts. Intense fresh lime on the palate initially followed by a little vanilla, plenty of minerality and an underlying richness and depth. A very faint reductive note on the finish. B+
