Default 2011 Chteau le Castelot


2011 Chteau le Castelot ***

I like his Gasparde Cuvee Prestige at 20E, so I was seduced to try one of his main productions:
Sour black berries, a bit earthy. lacks some texture, medium finish. For food, not for sipping.
At 42Euros this is way too expensive. Reminds me of Chateau Guerry at 18Euros. Id rather give 50Euro for Chateau Tivoli and 60E for La Tour Carnet which are 10 times better.

60 euro for La Tour Carnet? You should try other retailers and your wine
would be 20 times better than this Le Castelot.

Ah, I thought you were talking about that there were other wines much better at the price.
