Default 2010 Tablas Creek Paso Robles Vermentino

At my farm this weekend and I stumbled across this bottle of Tablas Creek 2010 Vermentino. I really enjoy the wines of Tablas Creek and this came from a mixed case that a freind sent to me as a gift. Im usually leery of small parcel varietals grown out of their native habitat but this one was a winner. I loved the screw cap closure as a start. The wine was very pale gold in the glass. Nose of citrus and flowers almost orange blossoms. Tasty on the palate with lemon and lime notes followed by a brisk acidity and a strong stoney minerality. "A-"
